Whats the difference between a "films" and a "productions"?

Like if someone makes short videos or videos for youtube, what would they make as a sort of small kinda company of there own nothing major but say you see a video that says video created by_____ and produced by _____productions or ____films, i see it alot on youtube or in big time movies but i never know what the difference between the two are. Can you help?
