Should I install 32 bit or 64 bit (windows 7)?

The question is do you intend to run any 64-bit applications in the future? If not then just install the 32-bit OS. You won't gain any advantage if you use a 64-bit OS on 32-bit applications anyway. As a matter of fact, a few might even run slower.
