Itunes isn't working?!?!?!?!?!?

My Itunes hasn't been working for awhile now. I can actually open the program and listen to music I have downloaded but the problem comes from the Itunes store. When ever I go into it It flashes on for about a second then it just goes white. Even if you type in search this still happens. I'm wondering if I should download a newer version of Itunes? Im also on a windows acer if that helps, I have like $200 in my account
