Apocalypse film help!?

So me and my theatre friends (Red Glimmered Kids) Are going to start another film. We have been asked to do a apocalypse based plot. So we are going to do a viral apocalypse because we dont have any amazing editing programs or place to do anything else. So i was thinking of having it start out at school, and then have an emergancy release. So im wanting it to be heartbreaking and such. Like involving a family, or group of friends or something like that. With dark twists and such. So im really needing some ideas for this. Any ideas? And does anyone happen to have a good idea for a name of it? Im thinking something like "The End." But idk
